What's with the CJ-2A?

The CJ-2A was the first civilian Jeep produced after World War II and was introduced in 1945. It is of particular interest to me because i drove a 1946 CJ-2A as a young teenager and own two presently.  All three are in the animated graphic at the upper left of this page.   Much of this site contains images and information about these Jeeps.
